Connect Cisco 3560 to home router and internet

I am guessing that this is a simple solution, but for some reason I am not searching the correct terms.

I have a consumer grade wifi/gig ethernet router (Netgear r7000) and I need to configure my Cisco Catalyst 3560 to connect to the router in order to allow internet access to all connected computers on the switch.

Netgear Router (r7000): 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway 192.168.1.1

Cisco 3560 Vlan1: 192.168.1.250 255.255.255.0

How do I configure a port to act as an "uplink" to the router? Thanks in advance!

You really shouldn't have to do anything special. Your router will be in vlan 1 along all of your other devices on the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet. Just connect your Netgear to port 1, for example, and you should see a link come up. If you don't see the link come up, try using a crossover cable (although I highly doubt this will be needed). There isn't a special uplink port like you see in soho switches you'd pick up at Best Buy.
