connecting 3750 with GLC-GE-100FX SFP

I have a 3750 that was supposed to connect to a 100 meg FE port, so I ordered a GLC-GE-100FX SFP but now it has to connect to another 3750 Gig e port. If I just get another GLC-GE-100FX SFP for the other switch will that work?

Hello Tara,

this depends from the support of this specific SFP on the other switch: for example C2960 doesn't support it.

You should verify this.

Thanks for the quick response. If I understand you correctly as long as the other switch supports the that sfp module it will work using the GLC-GE-100FX= on both ends.
