Connecting a Server to Edge Switches connected to vPC Core

Hi all,

I have a pair of Nexus 9236C's as a vPC Core and off which will be several Nexus 93108's Edge Switches.  Am I correct in saying that a server CANNOT be dual honed (two NIC's Active Active) onto two different Edge switches, unless the Edge switches were formed into another separate vPC domain ?

Hi,

That is correct. Since the edge switches are not configured with vPC, you can't dual a server with 2 NICs to 2 different 93108 switches.

I created Domains with the Edge switches and configured Back to Back vPC's.  Everything is working well.
