Hi ,

I have a device connected on the other side of the cisco 6513 ,

For example : --->6513-1(1/1) 6513-1 (2/2)--> PC . How can I ping from the PC to the far end device .

Tried mapping the 1/1,2/2 and the end as the same VLAN , but it has not worked , am I missing anything ?

Hi,

Your PC, the 2 6513 switches and the link between them need have the same vlan configured.  You also need to create an SVI on the far end 6513 with an IP address, so you can ping it from your PC.

I'm a bit confused. You have two hosts, connected to different ports on the same 6513? If so, those ports are in the same VLAN? If so, do both hosts have their interfaces in the same network?
