I am curious around the best practices surrounding vPCs between VDCs with two Nexus 7Ks. Currently our environment is setup like this:
For reference, we currently have two Nexus 7Ks, each with two Sup-2s and a single F2e module. We would like to add an additional VDC, potentially more, to each switch.
I would like to connect them in a configuration that will provide the most redundancy possible. This design appears to be the most logical to me:
Is this a valid design? Or does someone have some insight based on experience that they might be able to provide? Does the fact that each chassis only has a single line card change the design (What are the odds of an ASIC/Port/VDC failure compared to a line card)?
