Hello folks,
I have 3 Dell R430 Esxi servers, 2 C3650C switches and a 2811 router, and I want to use them to build a vSphere virtual Lab environment. The approximate network structure is: the two network cards of each R430 are physically bound in the DCUI as management network cards, and are connected to the f0/1-3 ports of the two C3650C respectively. These three ports are assigned to VLAN10. The other two network cards of each R430 are connected to the f0/10-12 network port of the C3650C respectively, and these three ports are set to Trunk. C3650C is then connected to the 2811 router, and a network port of the router is connected to the Internet to enable virtual machine access to the Internet and remote management of the server (through NAT). I would like to ask if this design is correct and are there any special settings required on the switch and router? Thank you!
