In general, a consumable is something that needs to be replaced once it is used.
For example, in a printer, "ink" is a consumable.
Which specific Cisco products or consumables are you referring to?
Some of our hardware instructions call for "tools and consumables."
A tool is something you will re-use. A consumable is something that will be used in the process.
A screwdriver is a tool. A disposable cleaning cloth is a consumable.

I mean, which parts are consumable ? ( are not under warranty or maintenance ) .
In a Hw incident, what parts the customer has to pay even if he has a maintenance contract.
For example the battery in a laptop or the ink in the printer.
Thanks for your Help.

Does Cisco have a digital product catalog wherein it is specified which products are classified as consumable and which are non-consumable? and can you share it with us?
