Hi All,
I need help on how to apply the control plane policing in any Cisco Packet Tracer router.
I tried to apply the "license boot module c2900 technology-package securityk9" to any router, save and reload, but still no router accepting the police command such as: "police 80000 conform transmit exceed drop", but the police command is not available.
I'm trying to follow this reference "https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/qos_plcshp/configuration/xe-3s/qos-plcshp-xe-3s-book/qos-plcshp-ctrl-pln-plc.html#GUID-CB4191C3-30F7-4A79-B4FC-A070BFBF586F"
I appreciate any help or inputs from you guys... Thanks in advance.

Hi
Packet tracer has limited functionality compared to real hardware.
I don't think you can practice control-plane policing in packet tracer.
You can practice MQC .. class-maps and policy-maps.
Hope this helps
