Dear All,
I have continoulsy monitored error messages on my console "35w1d: %C4K_L3HWFORWARDING-3-FTECONSISTENCYCHECKFAILED: (Suppressed 35 times) FwdTableEntry Consistency Check Failed: index 100057".
When i checked this message with Cisco Error decorder tool then it will show me this recomendation:
There was a consistency check failure. If this error occurs frequently, it could indicate faulty hardware.
Recommended Action: If the problem persists, & there was a consistency check failure it could indicate faulty hardware.
Related documents- No specific documents apply to this error message.
I also checked with all the modules status of core switch which is attached it will not showing any faultiness of the part either. Do help me what is the resolution of that error as core switch generating these messages repeatedly. Show version and Logging were also attahced
The current release is "cat4500-entservicesk9-mz.122-53.SG1.bin"

Faulty hardware. Please contact Cisco TAC and request the RMA for the faulty Supervisor.

Thanks Amit but if you can see the attahced "Show module" it shows that the status of Supervisor was ok. I have claimed for the RMA but is there any good reason why the supervisor is corrupted.

Hi Salman,
The error message means that the forwarding table memory (SRAM) is corrupt. This error can result in packet drops. Sometimes, this error can cause the wrong interface to receive incorrectly routed packets
If this error message soccur continously that denotes a hardware fialure.
