Good day.

Im traying to create an access port on a ASR1001-X with Cisco IOS XE Software, Version 03.16.03.S and its not working has expected. For example:

I have configured the interface BDI 2211 with ip  192.168.198.132 (gateway) and my laptop (IP 192.168.198.133) connected to interface Gi0/0/0/5 with the following configuration:

interface GigabitEthernet0/0/5
description HOUSING_SERVER
no ip address
no negotiation auto
service instance 2211 ethernet
encapsulation untagged
bridge-domain 2211
!

The strange behavior is that although I see the mac of my laptop on the Router when I execute the command "show bridge-domain 2211" and the arp resolution on the router, I cant ping between them

ASR1001#show bridge-domain 2211
Bridge-domain 2211 (1 ports in all)
State: UP Mac learning: Enabled
Aging-Timer: 300 second(s)
BDI2211 (up)
GigabitEthernet0/0/5 service instance 2211
AED MAC address Policy Tag Age Pseudoport
0 F01F.AF6E.017C forward dynamic 113 GigabitEthernet0/0/5.EFP2211
- DC8C.37D7.3A3F to_bdi static 0 BDI2211

ASR1001#

ASR1001#show ip arp bdi 2211
Protocol Address Age (min) Hardware Addr Type Interface
Internet 192.168.198.132 - dc8c.37d7.3a3f ARPA BDI2211
Internet 192.168.198.133 14 f01f.af6e.017c ARPA BDI2211
ASR1001#

Any idea or clue of what may be happening or missed to configure, I have tried everything and I can not find the solution

Thanks in advance
