I am trying to find out if the CVR-QSFP-SFP10G= is supported in a Cat3650, all attempts to get a definite answer have failed to date, so any help much appreciated.

I don't think it is supported. All references are for Nexus

Thanks Reza,
I had seen the URL in your reply previously, but our Cisco SE has stated these could be used and our supplier didn't query this either when we placed an order, however now we have these on site we can't get them working - so I think we have been "sold" in error?

Hi,
Unfortunately, I was not able to find any reference that this module work with 3650 series. Did your Cisco SE provide any documentation that this will work?
What is connecting to 3650?

Hi.
the SE communication was not directly involving myself, but was between other members of the team and via email, the SE has since moved on too.
We have both c4500x and c3850's (as an aggregation layer) connecting to the c3650, it was a bit of future proofing with the purchase of the QSFP convertors
