Dark Fiber and FEX

I have my Nexus 5000 with Fex 2232, could I connect my Dark Fiber to my FEX or should I have it connected directly to my 5000?

Hi,

Yes, you can use the available fiber to connect them together.  It does not have to be a direct connect.

Hi -

Spec sheet for the N2K states that you can use SFP-10G-LR modules.  This gives you an effective range up to 10Km.  I can't find any documentation stating that you can use ZR or ER modules, so don't expect to go beyond 10Km.
