debug HSRP messages not seen

Hi,

We have following version of IOS : on our with IOS as CAT 4507.

bootflash:cat4500-ipbase-mz.122-31.SG1.bin.

We have configured the seperate VLANs with HSRP. I am tryin to debug the standby by debug commands. But not a single message is flashing. I tried to debug all hello packets but nothing is shown. I have no access to console port. I am trying with terminal monitor command.

any IOS issue ?

Are you at the console or thru a telnet session?

if you are on the console - configure:-

Logging buffered 14096

logging console

if a telenet session

Logging buffered 14096

Logging monitor

then issue a terminal monitor
