I need to redesign MSTP bcz i am seeing topology changes between Access switch and core switch within 10 seconds
Every switch including multilayer switch has its own region and CIST is formed between regions .And when CIST root bridge changes between two regions it is not propagated to third region
(so we don’t see root bridge change on other switches at the same time).
How should i design MSTP topology
Each floor has its own data vlan but same voice vlan.
Should i configure 1 mstp region and 1 mstp instance with all vlans mapped ?
Should i configure instance 1 with mapped vlan 3,10,20,60 and 200 and instance 2 with vlan 11 and instance 3 with vlan 12 ?
