I have a stack of 2960x switches. I have vlan A configured on a port. A device with a static IP address for vlan A will not communicate to vlan A. I can ping the default gateway from the switch. I can ping other devices from vlan A from the switch. I have erased the configurations from the port and reconfigured the port. I have configured other ports on the switch but got the same results. I have given a laptop a static IP for vlan A and went to another building with the same type switch and port configurations. The laptop connected fine but no connection on the first switch . I even configured the port with basic access to vlan A.
Can anyone help me?
