DHCP failed. APIPA being used

Hi i am using ip address 192.16.0.0 to 192.16.0.31 and it is not popping up in my end devices 

The password for entering the server is Pa55 and the enable password is the host name

Hi @w012140m ,

There are a few things to change in this lab to get one of the end devices on the left to acquire an ip address from the DHCP pool.

- The DHCP pool needs to be configured on the router (MC-R1) rather than on the switch (MC-MLS1)

- on MC-R1, the subinterfaces for VLAN 20,40, 60 and 80 are configured on interface gi0/0/1, but should be configured on interface gi0/0/0, which faces MC-MLS1.

- All links between the switches and between the switches and the routers need to be configured as trunks, rather than access.

- Since the pool you configured is for VLAN 20, you need to configure at lease one of the end devices on the left in VLAN 20. There is currently none.

- on MC-R2, you configured the exact same IP addresses for the VLAN 20, 40,60, 80 as you configured on MC-R1. This is incorrect.
