Hi,

I am quite new to networking. I am currently having problems trying to get the DHCP working on my mini network. If anyone could show me where i am going wrong it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

Hello,

there are multiple problems with your network:

--> missing trunks

--> missing Vlans in local databases

--> no DHCP pool for Vlan 99

I tried to fix as many mistakes as I could, review the file attached.

Best and fast way to help you is you attaching the pkt file here. Zip it first.

Sorry this is my first time using this forum, here is the packet tracer file...

The DHCP server is the WIFI-2000?

I need user and password to access devices.

The dhcp server is router1 and the password is 'class'

It is working now. You can see on the PC5.

But you have problem with port-security. You can see that the interface por PC5 has no port-security.

What was missing is that you did not created vlans on the switch0(1). The switch connected to the DHCP router.

If you have an interface on the router, you need to have a vlan on the switch.

About the port-security problem, you need to make sure that the mac address learned on the switch port, matches with the device mac address.  Just to get everything running for now, I recommend you to disable port-secury and enable later.
