Ronald,

As far as I can see from the config guide for LAN-Lite there is no DHCP SERVER support at all.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst2960/software/release/12.2_37_ey/configuration/guide/scg.html

Also looking at the feature comparison PDF

www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps6406/prod_presentation_c97-494780.pdf

The answer is NO DHCP SERVER support on LAN-Lite IOS

Alex.

Here's a 2960 (WS-C2960-24PC-S   12.2(50)SE5 C2960-LANLITEK9-M )

I can't turn on a real pool because it's in production, but I can enable the service and it's letting me get a pool started...

FRS-Van-Swi-B3(config)#service dhcp ?

FRS-Van-Swi-B3(config)#service dhcp

FRS-Van-Swi-B3(config)#ip dhcp pool ?

  WORD  Pool name

FRS-Van-Swi-B3(config)#ip dhcp pool
