Hi,
I want to implement DHCP snooping in our network. In our network we have some old machines that are using Bootp.
When a Thin Client does a DHCP request (bootp) and DHCP snooping is enabled, the TC doesnt get an address.
A laptop or a desktop pc will get an IP.
Does anyone know what causes this?
regards,
Ruud

Check if the TC is send DHCP request with non-zero giaddr. As per RFC3046, the server discard such requests. So you can use the command "no ip dhcp snooping verify no-relay-agent-address" to overcome this issue.
