DHCP snooping - windows 7 using wifi adaptor address DHCP

Hi

I have a situation where windows 7 laptops are using the wireless adaptor mac-address in the DHCP packet on the wired network

This means by DHCP snooping is logging events constantly ( as nearly all my estate is laptop )

I can turn stop with the following command line :

no ip dhcp verify mac-address

however surely this compromises my security ?

Anyone seen this before ? and is taking the mac-address verify off a real risk ?

Have you investigated setting the workstations so their wireless interface is disabled when the LAN is connected?  This can be done quite easily on Windows 7.  

That is much better for your network security.
