 I was hoping someone could help with a basic diagram I am writing up. I am drawing out a diagram from a data center in Bldg-1 to the MDF in Bldg-2, then up to 4th floor in Bldg-2. Which core switch should I use in the Data center and which aggregate switches should I use in the MDF and 4th floor in Bldg-2? I am looking to incluse fiber patch panels as well. This is just a basic layout but I would like it to be somewhat accurate. I was thinking 9300 but I know there are multiple model #s.

Core switch now a days is 9500 and access switch you can use 9300 and 9200. Fortunatelly or unfortunally, there is not much option for switches. Most of them are end of life.

If you need router, consider ASR1001-X
