I'm hoping that somebody could help me figure out a few things.
I'm trying to figure out where there cost difference is calculated between the small business switches e.g. SG500-52P and the Catalyst switches e.g. 2960-s.
The small business switches seem quite feature rich and appear to be able to have most of the same capabilities as the 2960.
My questions is, why do the catalyst switches cost so much more?
specifically what is it about them that requires the increase in cost?
And any examples of where you would choose one over the other?
