Different Nexus

Hi there,

We have 4 Nexus 7010 in two different Data Centers. One pair is running NX-OS release 5.1.3 but the other pair is running NX-OS release 4.1.2.

Now, we need to reallocate one fiber module from one of the pairs to the other. Do somebody knows if there is some kind of problem inserting a module with firmware updated to 5.1.3 inside a chassis running release 4.1.2?

The question is what are the features that you need to run for this module that are only available on version 5.1.3 and NOT on 4.1.2?

Once you've determined that, you shouldn't face any problems at all.
