Different NX-OS + VPc domains

Hello All,

I have 2 Nexus 7010 with 2 (chassis A and chassis B) supervisors each one and i will upgrade a NX-OS from 4.2(4) to 4.8(2). I plan upgrade chassis A and after chassis B. In each chassis have 4 VDCs and 2 VPc domains. After completing the upgrade in chassis A i will have chassis A with NX-OS 4.8(2) and chassis B with NX-OS 4.2(8). The VPc support different NX-OS versions?

The VPC support is the same with both versions.

BTW, it is recommend to have 2 sup per chassis not 1

I have 2 supervisors per chassi. My question is: The VPc form adjacency with different NX-OS releases? For example:

chassis A (NX-OS 4.8(2) ) and chassis B (NX-OS 4.2(4) ).

It´s possible?

Use ISSU to upgrade your set

On the Nexus upgrading code Is a lot simpler then upgrading 6500 VSS
