Disable MOP on Cisco 4351

Hi All,

I am migrating one of my routers from 3800 series to the new 4351 series .

I will use this router to terminate IPSEC tunnels, and want to disable MOP protocol on the local interfaces . For some reason the new 4351 has no such command called "no mop enabled" .

Has IOS XE removed mop as a supported feature ? Is this why i am not able to run that command ?

Thanks in advance ,

Rahul Nair.

Hi Rahul

I have noticed this too. I also have a ISR4321 running identical code and license and "no mop enabled" works on this device.

But not on the ISR4351.

ISR4351 is different hardware platform.

Is that the difference??
