Hi,
I couldn't find any definitive documentation on this, would disabling UDLD on a link per interface have any service impact in a live environment?
Thanks in advance,
P.

Hi Pete,
It is better to do this in a maintenance window because once udld establishes a bidirectional communication, and for any reason if one side of the link detects udld packet is getting missed, it will error-disable the port. So there is likely that you may have impact on live traffic. So better do it in a short MW and disbale udld on both side of the link.
Hope this helps and kindly rate my post if it is useful.
Thanks,
Madhu.
