I have been trying to use Route-map with distribute-list on 3600 series router in GNS3, but found that the Distribute-list does not support route-map.
The Distribute-list only supports/ works with Access-list and Prefix-list.
Is my finding correct? or there is something which I am missing?

Hi Daud,
The ability to use a route-map in a distribute-list is purely software based - i.e. it depends exclusively on whether Cisco IOS developers decided to implement it, and obviously, whether customers requested such a feature.
Specifically, in Cisco IOS 12.4T, the route-map can be used in distribution lists for EIGRP and OSPF. It may be that your IOS does not contain the necessary support. The sure thing is that the support for route-maps in distribution lists is not universal.
Best regards,
Peter
