We have an ISR 4331 with NIM-ES2-4 module that does not support etherchannel. Does anyone know for sure if the NIM-2GE-CU-SFP module would support etherchannel/port-channel? The datasheet for the NIM-ES2-4 states clearly that etherchannel is not supported but the datasheet for the NIM-2GE-CU-SFP does not mention etherchannel at all.

It does not appear to be supported.
see Table in this link.

That is the current network module that we have that we know does not support EtherChannel. I was looking for definitive answer on the new module that we are considering buying, the NIM-2GE-CU-SFP.

It depends on what you are trying to accomplish with the port channel, but you wouldn't get 2Gb through from a 4331 anyway. It could give you redundancy. The onboard NIC's definitely support EtherChannel, but the same performance limits apply.

We are just looking for redundancy. I saw that the onboard NICs support it but we are already using those ports.

Do you already have port channels configured on the built in ports? If not, you swap the assignments around. Obviously that would be service affecting.
