I have a 3560 switch, with 10 hosts connected to the switch. When we ping the switch from any of the hosts we are seeing 20% packet loss. When we ping from host to host we are not seeing the packet loss. It looks like the packet loss is only observed when we are accessing the switch itself. Traffic through the switch is not seeing the packet loss.
We checked the physical interfaces are there are no error or drops. The processes of the switch are very low (15%). Everything we have looked at does not indicate a physical problem.
This is a single VLAN environment.
