Hi all,

I know it might not be the right forum but for my studies i needed this to clear up. Is it possible for one radio to transmit at 2.4 and 5 ghz at the same time ?

I think not since the oscillator can only work at one frequency at a time (its my guess actuall)

What you guys think ?

Technical yes your 2.4GHz radio's can send 5GHz signals, but these are unwanted harmonics from the original signals
So if iT does, your radio needs to be serviced!!!

But Dual band APs have separate radio's installed for 2.4 and 5GHz.
The signal from the TWO radio's CAN be combined into a single (dual band) antenna.
