Please advise on this.
i recently deployed DAI on switches in our network but what beats me is most Cisco IP phone (7821 and 7911) goes off which is now causing administration overhead for me as i have to recover ports from err-disabled state.
The Switchport goes into err-disabled state reason being arp-inspection, whats surprising most is when i check the DHCP snooping database , i can see the IP address binding to MAC address.
I do not wnat to enable Err-Disabled Auto-recovery cos i want to know why these ports goes into disabled state.
i have attached images of showing err-disabled ports and reason, Mac address-table, DHCP Snooping Table and logs on console.
Can someone please explain why these switchports connecting to IP Phones are going into err-disabled state and why the port with invalid ARP request isn't (please DAI error attachment).
