Quick way with Bin file :

Take the backup config out of the box, take the maintenance window since relaod required some time

check the release notes and understand the caveats. if you upgrade higher code some time required Micro Code upgrade.

1. Download the image from cisco site

2. Copy the imave to flash1: flash2 (if you have more switches increate the number and copy)

copy tftp:imax.bin flash1:image.bin

copy tftp:imax.bin flash2:image.bin

3. check the MD5 checksum

change the boot system

boot system switch all flash:/image.bin

4. write the config

5. reload

if you have like to do archive install.

archive copy-sw /force-reload /overwrite /dest 2 1  (add more switch if required)
