Easy CDP ?

I have enabled CDP on two of my switches and it is working fine. I try to run it on my third switch, a Catalyst 3550, it won't advertise any cdp packets. Has anyone heard of this happening?

is CDP enabled on interfaces of third switch?

That is it I didn't enable it on the interfaces, an oversight on my part. Thanks.

Hi Friend,

Check if CDP is enabled globally on 3550 switch with a command "sh cdp".

Also if it is enabled globally then check if it is enabled on 3550 interface connected to other switch and if it is enabled on remote swith interface to which this 3550 is connected.
