Hello, I have a two sites link with two radios links, I have two L3 links so when one looses EIGRP the other one works. The problem is that eigrp hello are sent every 5 seconds over ethernet so if the link fails for 15 seconds the routing protocol will choose the other link.
To change that problem I am planning to change the configuration to 1 L3 ethernchannel with two radio links, but the problem is, when can I know that one radio link is not working fine and shutdown that port. Or at least get an alarm, will lacp help?
any ideas?
Kind regards

Hi,
You can configure a layer-3 portchannel with LACP if the device supports it. As for link alarm, you would need to enable snmp, so if one of the physical links goes down to send a snmp trap to your server.
some thing link this
snmp-server host x.x.x.x.
snmp-server enable trap snmp linkdown

Hi Reza, the problem is that the link wont go down because its like this L1 topology, the links wont go down they will just have problems sending traffic and I need somehow to check that the link is not working in order to shutdown the port
