what is Ethernet of the First mile ?

Hi ,

Ethernet of the first mile is actually a combination of ethernet standard 802.3ah which is amendment of media access control parameters, physical layers and certain management parameters for access network and the first mile refer to communication n/w links the customer premises.

Is this protocol support on NCS5002 release 6.3.2? I checked website and did not find any information or configuration guide for that.
