I have a cisco 2900 series router which i bought an ehwic card for it. The card has been working for the router but i configured switchport mode trunk
on the interface before it worked. I took the same ehwic card from the router and connected it my cisco 1941 to router to test if it will work on it but the router did not even recognize the card. I would like to know if the 1941 router uses a different ehwic card from that of the 2900 series,or i did not do something right. If yes please tell me which type i can purchase for my 1941 router and if possible i will prefare the type which will not need any configuration on the ports.(Plug and Play kind of).Preferably 2 to 4 ports.
