Hi All,
Need some help regarding this issue I am having.
Recently received a router replacement from TAC for one of my Far East locations. After a few hours of troubleshooting with TAC regarding an interface port showing up/down we finally got it fixed. However, now we have an underlying issue with our EHWIC card.
I am getting the following error message when booting up from the log file:
*May 4 13:38:55.771: %EHWIC_ERR-3-FPGA_DOWNLOAD_FAIL: FPGA DOWNLOAD Failed DEFAULT version 0/0/0 ehwic slot
Try to do some research myself and cannot find much information or resolution regarding this error. Read a few web pages that advise I need to be running 15.1(2)T IOS, but i am already on 15.5(3)M4
Licenses in use are:
- ipbasek9
- securityk9
- datak9
When doing a "show inv" & "show diag" the router sees the EHWIC-4ESG, but does not show the additional interfaces in "sh run" or "sh ip int br."
We have tried removing the EHWIC and installing into another slot and get the same results.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
