Hi - i know this 'in theory' (for the NP exam), but never configured it.
Equipment: 6509 & Stacked 3750.
Links: 1G & 155Mb
I need to link these two offices together via EIGRP. (at either ends of the city)
So, my question:
Does the 'routing subnet' have all 4 interfaces in the same subnet, or do i need to split that up into 2 x /30's?
If so, do you have a config example?
Cheers guys, thanks.

Hi James
If it is a straight choice between the 2 i would go with 2 x /30 P2P links. This will ensure that STP is not present on the links between your 2 offices.
As you say EIGRP will not see this as equal cost paths so it will send traffic down the 1G link. You can use variance although i know some people in these forums that would strongly advise against it.
You could also change the delay on the interfaces if you really wanted equal cost load balancing but you need to take into account your full topology.
