I use putty and every time I login to switch, it auto goes to EXEC mode with prompt "#", I want everytime login, it goes to prompt"<", then I can use enable to enter EXEC mode. how to do?
also how to create password for enable command?
how to add a new use call "XYZ" with password "123", thanks

Hi,
Are you using an centralize tacs system for the user through which you are login or its is via local database.
you can change the privilege mode in local data base for user, if you are doing via local database.

Hi,
Normally , for doing any changes connect via console and configure password for telnet and enable password to login in to privillage mode and uner line vty 0 15 ask for login prompt.
