Enable QSA (10GB) adapter on a QSFP+ port on a Nexus 93108TC-EX

I believe that there needs to be a speed-group applied to one of the six ports QSFP+ ports (49-54), but I have so far been unable to apply a speed-group setting to any of the ports. Looking for some assistance to get this QSA to come up, as right now it remains down.

Is the speed command under the interface unavailable?

What is the error message you are getting?

Thanks for your reply!!

I unplug the QSA, and then set the speed for that port to 10000, the device accepts the command. When I plug the QSA back in, it actually stopps being in error, but the link remains down, and I cannot perform a noshut on it and have it come up. When I try and set speed-group 10000 (what I have read for similar switches), I get the message "Configuration does not match the port capability"

Thanks for the info.

What are you connecting the Nexus 93108 to? What is on the other side of the fiber?

Thanks again!

It plugs in to a 4900M with a OneX/X2 with a SFP-10GB-LR (mated pair to what is installed in the QSA)

bump!
