Hi All,
I hope everyone is keeping well.
I am looking at the following link, and looking to clarify if the Nexus will still be supported running NXOS 8.1.2(a) ?
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/nexus-7000-series-switches/eos-eol-notice-c51-741423.html
The comment of "will no longer develop, repair" l am questioning whether the switch and the OS are still supported?
End of SW Maintenance Releases Date: | The last date that Cisco Engineering may release any final software maintenance releases or bug fixes. After this date, Cisco Engineering will no longer develop, repair, maintain, or test the product software. | March 30, 2020 |
Thanks,
James

Hi James,
l am questioning whether the switch and the OS are still supported?
Yes, If you have an active support contract, you will still get support from TAC for repair, RMA, etc...

Hi Reza,
Thanks for the response, and yes we do have an active support contract.
It was the wording of repair, l was thinking "if running that SW" they wouldn't repair it, but we are ok.
Thanks,
James

You should be good, James!
Usually, the support goes away a few years after the EOL and EOS dates. Cisco gives a few years to upgrade
