Hello
Does anyone knows if 2960s stack support ePAGP to detect VSS dual active state ?
Documentation informs that 3750 stack does not but nothing about 2960s stack ...
Thanks

Hi.
ePAGP is supported on the 6500 series. If you are connecting 3750 or any other device to VSS, you have to use LACP and use fast hello for you dual-active detection. ePAGP supposed to be supported on the 3750s in future IOS releases.

Hi
Thanks for your answer.
My question was actually about 2960s stack. I thing that it is supported on standalone 2960s.
I know the limitation on 3750 (cross-stack etherchannel only) because of the stackwise using LACP.

This documentation is dated 2009 so ...
Concerning 2960s "flexstack", I could not find anything in any documentation.
Has anyone ever tried to configure PAgP or ePAgP on 2960s stack ?
Thanks

ePAGP is supported on all versions of IOS that the 2960s can run. There is still the same limitation though on cross-stack etherchannels as the 3750 though. Here's the doc on configuring EC's on the 2960s and stacking:
