erase flash

Hi,

I have typed 'erase flash' command by mistake in my catalyst 2950 switch. After reboot, it stopped at "switch:" prompt. How to recover from here?. Where do I get IOS if I need to re-install? I am new to cisco products.

hi

if you dont hve the backup of the ios installed in your switch you need to download the same from CCO with valid cco login credentials with additional privileges attached to which will allow you to do so.

But are you sure about the backup copy of ios ?
