Hello,
We have a remote port that goes into err disable and I what to be alerted when this happens to get some info, how do i send this sort of data to our syslof server and do I need to set the switch to a certain logging level? I don't think we have a spanning tree issue as I am told there is a computer on this port, but I need to monitor it. The interface has no collisions on it either, could be just a bad nic maybe. Once our syslog server see's the err disbale appear I can get it to email me.
