Error enabling NXAPI on NExus 3548

Hi to all, we want to enable nxapi on NX3548, but when i try to enable it i get the following:

NEXUSA(config)# feature nxapi
Error: Feature not supported on this platform

It is very strange since the 3548 should support the API according to this doc:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus3548/sw/programmability/6x/b_Cisco_Nexus_3500_Series_NX-OS_Programmability_Guide_6x/b_Cisco_Nexus_3000_Series_NX-OS_Programmability_Guide_chapter_01.html

What could be the problem?

Hi,

this is the version:

Software
BIOS: version 1.9.0
loader: version N/A
kickstart: version 6.0(2)A4(5)
system: version 6.0(2)A4(5)

The version should be ok since the guide i posted is related to 6.x Version.

show nxapi
nxapi not enabled

When i tried to enable it i get the error

Theoretically yes , but I still would upgrade to https://software.cisco.com/download/home/284365099/type/282088129/release/9.3(10) and try again, the reason being that I could not find any references to nx-api in the 6.x release notes while it is mentioned in 9.x , it is always advisable anyway to verify such a problem against the latest advisory release for the particular platform.

Hello,

I think you need something like version 9.2 (see the link below)...
