Hi Majed,

It could be a bug in the IOS version you are running.  Here is the bug info:

The recommendation is to upgrade to different version of IOS.  So, try a new version of IOS and see if the problem goes away.

Conditions:

The Catalyst 3560 switch is running Cisco IOS 12.2(20)SE4 (and later)

and PD is detected/classified as "overcurrent class". This problem won't happen

with latest images starting from 12.2(25)SEA

Workaround:

Do NOT connect 802.3af non-standard class PDs or even bad/loopback cables

(as their class can be incorrectly detected) to the switch

Hi Reza

The IOS image is

c3560-ipbase-mz.122-25.SEB4.bin

And it was running fine since 6months. Today suddenly it got restarted two times the switch. And its showing me this error.

Majed,

Here is the bug id (CSCsa72400) that is associated with this version.  Go ahead and download a newer version like 12.2(50) or later and load it to your switch. That should resolve your issue.

Good Luck

Reza

Thanks I will update and let you know
