Error message on Nexus 7k

       I have a customer that is getting the following error message.

%KERN-3-SYSTEM_MSG: [2211085.144735] utaker: arp:arp-cli-tra: too many threads - kernel

I have tried putting it through error message decoder and looking through the documentation on CCO but have been unable to find an explaination for the error message. Has anyone seen this before?

Hi Andrew,

It looks like the cli thread running under ARP process is not getting terminated. Check the following outputs - are the commands working as expected or some are empty while they should be not?

     show tech arp detail

If you have supervisor redundancy, than switchover is likely to fix it. Otherwise - open a TAC case for SW issue investigation.
