does anyone know about this error msg ?

Jun 27 08:19:16.776: %EARL_L2_ASIC-SP-4-FT_ERR: EARL L2 ASIC 0: Forwarding table bank 1 encountered correctable ecc error at address 0xB4DC

Hi Jackal,

Following is the meaning of error message.

EARL_L2_ASIC-4-FT_ERR: EARL L2 ASIC [dec]: Forwarding table bank [dec] encountered [chars] ecc error at address [hex]

This message indicates that the EARL L2 ASIC detected a non-fatal condition in one of the banks of the forwarding table. The bank and address of the forwarding table is specified in the error message.

Recommended Action: If this message recurs, copy the error message exactly as it appears on the console or in the system log, contact your Cisco technical support representative, and provide the representative with the gathered information.
