ESW-520-8P Port not working

Hi there,

Can anyone assist me on this one? We've had constant issues with this switch since we put it in, with it trying to be clever and disabling ports on us part of the port security 'feature'. 

I have a port that is telling me there is no device connected, however I have a device connected to it. The port is not supplying PoE. This port was operating yesterday (Although it was restarting the phone that was attached to it several times a day). 

I would appreciate any assistance in diagnosing whether the port is disabled, or geniunely faulty.

Please let me know which information you can use to assist.

When this happens again, post the complete output to the command "sh interface status err".

Thanks for the reply - I can't see a way for the switch to allow me to type commands in manually - but I got this from the telnet menu
