Ether Channel

I'm supporting a  system administrator  with a Windows server with two 100 Mbps interface connections to a 3750  access switch, IOS is basic 12.55SE1, which is part of a  stack of 3 total switches .  The server's IP is reachable by Layer 3 connections i.e. devices not on the server's VLAN  subnet, but  at layer 2, connected to  the same switch  in the same VLAN, devices cannot reach the server.  I have tried removing the ether cahnnel configuration but am unable to re establish a  layer 3 connection on either of the two ports. Would appreciate any ideas on jow to resolve this. Thanks

You should check both vlan interfaces (server's vlan SVI and the vlan SVI of the devices attempting to access it) for an ACL that may prevent traffic from one to the other.  There aren't many other reasons for a server in one vlan to not be accessible by devices connected to the same switch but on another vlan than some type of traffic filtering going on between vlans.
